Dahlia PictureDahlia Topolosky, a wife and mother, musician and psychologist, is also our new Rebbetzin!

Dahlia is a licensed psychologist. She completed her doctorate in 2005 from the combined school-clinical program at the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology.  She served as the psychologist for the Horace Mann Lower School in NY before relocating to New Orleans where she worked in private practice providing treatment and assessment for children/adolescents with various psychological, learning, and behavioral disorders. Outside her practice, Dahlia created and led a support group for parents offering positive parenting skills and also provided private coaching. Her prior education includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and English at Barnard College in New York. Dahlia has also spent time in Israel, learning in various institutions of advanced Jewish studies and volunteering in underprivileged communities.

Dahlia also enjoys singing and playing guitar. She has led concerts and kumzitzes for women and appreciates any opportunity to share Jewish mystical teachings and soulful melodies. Dahlia has started “Mommy and Me” Jewish music and movement groups for parents and children, and in 2007, produced her first album called Kol Nearim (Voice of Children). Her album is sold online at www.cdbaby.com and in Jewish stores around the country.

Along with her career commitments and community involvement, Dahlia places family first, spending time with her husband Uri and their four children. She hopes that their home is always known to be an open and warm place where everyone feels welcome. You can reach her at: This email address is being protected from spambots.
